We have put together a powerful conference for Women in Ministry. Pastors, Preachers, Ministers,  & Evangelists. Joins on Saturday, June 27, 2020 as we gather on Zoom online to be empowered through dynamic workshops, praise & worship and a Word!  We are excited about our anointed and gifted  guest speakers, Rev. Dr. Mitzi Smith, Ph.D.,  Pastor Tasha Dillon, M.Div., and our own Rev. ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Rev. Dr. Mitzi Smith, Ph.D.

 

Rev. Dr. Mitzi J. Smith, Ph.D. is the first African American female to earn a Ph.D. in New Testament from Harvard University. She is the J. Davison Philips Professor of New Testament at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA; prior to that she taught for over 13 years at Ashland Theological Seminary. She is a preacher and author of many essays and several books including: I Found God in Me: A Womanist Biblical Hermeneutics Reader; Womanist Sass and Talk Back: Social (In)Justice, Intersectionality, and Biblical Interpretation; and Insights from African American Biblical Interpretation.  Her books are available at Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, Walmart, and other online book distributors.  Pastor Tasha Dillon, M.Div. 

Pastor Tasha Dillon serves at New Life Fellowship Full Gospel Church, McComb location. She believes in the power of prayer and the integrity of God’s Word, that when you release the Word, the Word will work. You change your life by changing your mind. A graduate of the prestigious MS Economic Council’s Leadership Mississippi (2013), she has received degrees in Business Administration, holds a Master of Divinity, is a Mississippi Certified Tourism Professional, and volunteers with community, school, and civic boards. With over 20 years nonprofit and small business experience, she has helped found and organize multiple, sustainable organizations, churches, and businesses. 


While encountering a life-altering trial, she authored her first book “Echo Zoe, Book 1,” which stirs the reader to Have Life! She has since authored four books. Rev. Linda Seatts-Ogletree, M.A.,. Christian Ministry, M.A.D.R.


Rev. Linda Seatts-Ogletree is an Educator, Ordained Minister, Pastoral Theologian and President/CEO of Release & Refresh Women’s Empowerment, Series, Inc., 501(c)(3), dedicated to improving the Mental, Emotional & Spiritual Health of Women & Girls through classes, conferences, seminars, and workshops. She has a passion for all to live their Best Life. She is a best-selling author of three books, “My New Life: A Handbook for Born-Again Believers, “How to Communicate in Everyday Life, and “The Truth about the Superior Lie: Resurrecting the Lives of African-Americans Crucified by the Lie and various articles and essays.  


She served as Adjunct Faculty at Ashland Theological Seminary from 2013-2018  and adjunct professor at Wayne State University from 2001-2013. She recently added international recording artist to her list of accomplishments. A two-time Breast Cancer survivor, in 2018 she wrote and produced a song for Breast Cancer Survivors and all going through life changes. The success of her single morphed into a full album titled, “Good News” released July 12, 2019. Her decision was confirmed when her first single, “I’m Gonna Win” was #1 on many UK playlists & now her music continues to  stream in over 12 countries. She is grateful she “Released her inhibitions and Refreshed with Possibilities.” 

Rev. Seatts-Ogletree is a Social Justice and Civil Rights Advocate. 


She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration/Marketing from The Union Institute, Los Angeles, CA; a Master of Arts degree in Christian Ministry from Ashland Theological Seminary and a Master of Arts in Dispute Resolution from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. She is married to her soulmate Richard and enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

RRWES was established because of Linda's  passion for Women & Girls.  Her desire is to equip Women & Girls with practical life skills  specific to us! The RRWES Empowerment style of Rapid Transformation Therapy works. Women & Girls needs safe spaces to talk about "what's really going on." Through RRWES programs, Women  and Girls are transformed & empowered to conquer any & all obstacles!
